There are 2 public car parks a few metres from the guesthouse, as well as a taxi rank and several bus stops, both local and intercity..
San Sebastian’s 3 beaches are one of its main attractions. La Concha Beach, the most famous and most photographed, is considered one of the most beautiful urban beaches in the whole of Europe; Ondarreta Beach, which is located between Mount Igeldo and the Miramar Palace gardens, together with La Concha beach makes up the Bay of La Concha; and Zurriola Beach, which is a favourite destination for surfers and young people from around the world destination.
Santa Clara Island is one of the most emblematic places in San Sebastian. You can enjoy its small beach, a walk to the beautiful lighthouse, a trail to its picnic areas … Its proximity to the beaches of the bay also make it possible to have a swim there throughout the year. From the island you can enjoy wonderful views of the city. During the summer a motor boat service runs every half hour from the port to the island’s pier.
The city also has a large number of parks, promenades and gardens, such as Cristina Eneto Park (94,960 square meters in size), Aiete Park (surrounded by gardens and ponds) or the Paseo de La Concha, that runs along the bay from the Peine de los Vientos to the fishing port where it joins with the Paseo Nuevo, making the views from here spectacular.
San Sebastian is also surrounded by mountains. Among them is Mount Igueldo, from where you can contemplate the Bay of la Concha. Mount Ulia, formerly used as a lookout point for whale watching, is the most popular hiking area of the city, and Mount Urgull, with its canyons and cliffs reflects the military history of the city.
